MLSecOps Community Code of Conduct
- The MLSecOps workspace is a community for discussing topics related to machine learning (ML) security operations and best practices for securing artificial intelligence (AI) and ML systems. Please stay on topic when posting in the channels and forums.
- Respectful Engagement: Treat all participants with respect and professionalism. Engage in constructive conversations and avoid personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory language or behavior based on factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Be mindful of cultural differences and diverse perspectives, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and open-mindedness.
- Do not share any confidential or sensitive information in the workspace. This includes but is not limited to personal information, intellectual property, and proprietary information.
- Do not spam the channels with irrelevant messages or content. This includes but is not limited to excessive self-promotion, repetitive messages, and off-topic discussions.
- Do not post any illegal or malicious content in the workspace.
- If you have any concerns or believe someone is violating the MLSecOps Code of Conduct, please bring them to the attention of an admin. The admins are here to help and will do their best to resolve any issues.
- The moderators reserve the right to remove any content or member that violates these rules or is otherwise deemed inappropriate for the community.
- We reserve the right to update this Code of Conduct at any time and for any reason in order to ensure that our community stays happy, productive, and inclusive.
- By joining the MLSecOps community spaces, you agree to abide by these rules and any decisions made by the moderators.
- By accessing and using our community spaces, you acknowledge and agree that you are subject to the following conditions:
- Eligibility: By participating, you confirm that you are not a citizen or resident of any country where such participation is prohibited by applicable laws, decrees, regulations, treaties, or administrative acts.
- Sanctions and Embargoes: You further confirm that you are not a citizen or resident of, or located in, a country or region that is subject to U.S. or other sovereign country sanctions or embargoes.
- Restricted Entities: Additionally, you acknowledge that you are not an individual employed by or associated with an entity identified on the U.S. Department of Commerce's Denied Persons or Entity List, the U.S. Department of Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals or Blocked Persons Lists, or the Department of State's Debarred Parties List. You must also be eligible to receive items subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations or comply with other economic sanction rules of any sovereign nation.
- Age Requirement: Our Website is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. If you have not reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction of primary residence and citizenship, you must obtain your parents' permission to use this Website.
- By accessing and using our community spaces, you agree to abide by these eligibility requirements. Failure to meet any of the specified criteria may result in disqualification from participation in the program. We appreciate your commitment to ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations to promote a safe and responsible environment.
Event Agreement
By participating in any of our events, you agree to the following:
- Our events are provided with no special warranty either express or implied. The Organizers assume no liability for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to property or persons, including death, whether arising in contract, negligence, equity, or otherwise.
- You assume all risks when participating in MLSecOps Community events. All participants must use care and good judgment and abide by our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to eject any participant who does not comply with the terms of this section. Ejected participants will not be entitled to a refund or any further recourse.
- You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the MLSecOps Community, its parent company Protect AI, Inc., its organizers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, affiliates for any and all legal actions arising out of participation in our events. You further agree to pay all legal fees incurred by Protect AI, Inc. that arise due to this agreement.
- You give the MLSecOps Community and Protect AI, Inc. authorization to use and post your image that may appear in any photographs, videos, recordings or any other record of our events, including full names of any participants, before, during or after the event for promotional use, reporting to the media, and to publish on our website or blog. You will not be entitled to any compensation use of your name or image.
- Refunds for any reason will be at the discretion of Protect AI, Inc.
- The MLSecOps Community and Protect AI, Inc. reserves the right to exclude anyone from our events should they choose not to accept this Agreement.
We appreciate your understanding and compliance with these terms. Thank you for being a part of the MLSecOps Community and helping to make it a positive and productive space for everyone.
